Ahoy, Mateys! Get ready to set sail on an adventure with Captain Jack’s Pirates! Join Captain Jack and his crew of swashbuckling pirates as they explore mysterious islands, search for hidden treasures, and face thrilling challenges on the high seas!
With a trusty map, a magical compass, and lots of pirate fun, you’ll be part of the crew on an unforgettable journey full of laughter, friendship, and excitement. So, grab your pirate hat and your sense of adventure – Captain Jack’s Pirates is calling all young buccaneers to come aboard and discover the wonders of the pirate world!
Camp highlights include:
• Deciphering maps and codes to find missing treasures
• Fencing with sea creatures and other adventurers
• Building your own pirate ship
• Making maps and mastering compass readings
• Creating your own secret map to travel across Pirate Mountain
• Explore hidden treasure maps
• Solve riddles
Embark on daring quests alongside Captain Jack and his crew with interactive games, creative activities, and a chance to dress up like a pirate, young adventurers will have a blast sailing the high seas, discovering secret treasures, and learning the pirate code. You’ll also Build giant shelters for your crew and take on mini quests along the way. This is not a camp you want to miss.

Prerequisites:
All equipment and supplies will be provided for use during the camp.
Itinerary:
The daily itinerary is posted at the studio for parents to review and includes two snack breaks and a 30-minute lunch. The schedule adjusts based on camper enjoyment, feedback, and abilities. Each day begins with a personalized agility warm-up in the gym. Themed activities follow, lasting 30 minutes to 3 hours, with a typical transition every 30 minutes. Larger projects, like robot building or fort making, are paired with fitness activities. Points are earned through mini challenges, such as helping with clean-up, memorizing names, supporting new campers, and participating in various challenges.
Remember to Bring:
Pack nut-free snacks for two snack times, a nut-free lunch, and medications with instructions. No computers, Legos, or laser equipment are allowed. Devices will stay in backpacks unless there’s an emergency. If staying for martial arts, include the uniform and gear. Label all bags with the camper’s name. For after-camp, pack extra nut-free snacks, homework, or reading materials.

We offer a top-notch before and after camp experience with a 10:1 counselor-to-camper ratio. Activities include optional martial arts classes, dodgeball, Nintendo Switch competitions, movies, arts and crafts, and more. Enjoy our library for summer reading and use monitored laptops for research. Before and After Camp is available for an extra fee; contact Encinitas Karate for more details.
